This policy explains what personal information PetMemory collects when you browse the store, contact us, or commission a piece, how we use it, and how to have it removed. Photos of your pet are personal to you, and we treat them that way.
What we collect
- Order details: name, email address, billing and delivery address, and what you ordered.
- Commission details: your pet’s name and type, the notes you give us, and the reference photographs you upload.
- Payment: handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the last four digits of a card where applicable. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical: IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, used to keep the store secure and to understand what is working.
How we use your photographs
Your photographs are used for one purpose: making your commission and talking to you about it. Specifically:
- They are stored on our own server, in a directory that is not publicly listable.
- They are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing.
- They are not used to train any model.
- They are not published — not on this site, not on social media — unless you give us permission.
- Ask us and we will delete your photographs and the finished-piece images after delivery.
Who else sees your data
Only what is necessary, and only to deliver your order: our payment providers, our shipping carrier, and our email provider. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Photographs and commission notes are kept while your order is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of a repair question, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to object to certain processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the period your local law requires.
