Caring for your piece
Wool felt is durable but it is not a toy. A little care keeps a piece looking right for years.
The short version
- Display only. These are decorative pieces, not toys. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep it dry. Do not wash or soak. Water will distort the fibre and can cause colours to bleed.
- Out of direct sun. Prolonged sunlight fades wool.
- Dust gently. Use a soft, dry brush or a hairdryer on its coolest, lowest setting held well away from the piece.
- Do not pull loose fibres. If a fibre lifts, trim it carefully with fine scissors rather than tugging it.
- Clean hands. Handling with dirty or oily hands marks the surface.
Storing a piece
If you need to put a piece away, wrap it loosely in acid-free tissue and store it somewhere dry and dark. Do not seal it in plastic — wool needs to breathe.
If something goes wrong
If a piece arrives damaged or develops a fault, photograph it and contact us straight away. We will put it right.
