a clear photograph, we prepare and print it in full colour, and it arrives ready to stand
on a shelf. No modelling stage, no approval loop — which is what keeps the price where it is.

Colour is printed into the piece rather than painted on afterwards, then checked and packed by hand.

Printed from the photograph you send
The shape and the colour both come from your picture. There is no sculptor in this tier and no hand-painting, so the cost stays close to the material and the machine time. What you get is a good likeness at a price that does not require deciding anything.

All four sizes include full colour. Choose by where the piece is going to live, not by the likeness — that does not change.

Honest limits
We would rather tell you now than have you disappointed later:
- Colour is matched on screen. It can shift a little in print, especially with unusual or very saturated coats.
- Fine detail is limited by the print. Whiskers and very short fur are simplified rather than reproduced.
- There is no approval step. The piece is made from your photograph as printed; it is not a modelled likeness you sign off on.
If any of those matter to you, the Studio Edition is the tier that solves them: sculpted rather than printed, hand-painted, and nothing is made until you have approved a 360° video of the model.

How long does it take?
Shorter than the wool felt line. We confirm your slot when we accept the commission, and we email you the expected dispatch date at that point.
What photographs should I send?
One clear, sharp photograph in daylight is enough — front on, whole head visible. Send extra angles if you have them; they help with the profile.
Can I see it before it is made?
Not at this tier — there is no modelling stage to show you. If seeing and approving the model matters, choose the Studio Edition.
Do you ship worldwide, and who pays duties?
Yes, tracked and insured. Import duties and taxes are the recipient’s responsibility.
How this differs from the Studio Edition
Same starting point — your photographs, reviewed by a person before anything is charged. The Essential is printed from your picture; the Studio Edition is sculpted from it, approved by you as a white model, and hand-painted, which is why it costs several times more.
