Elk ander stuk dat we maken toont een deel van je huisdier. Dit stuk geeft je alles \u2014 het hele dier, staand of zittend, in drie dimensies, volledig uit wol vervaardigd.<\/p>\n

\"Samoyed<\/picture><\/figure>\n

Wat het is<\/h2>\n

Een vrijstaand beeld, met de hand met naalden uit merinovezel gevilt over een draad- en schuimarmatuur, zodat het een echte houding aanneemt in plaats van stijf rechtop te staan. De zit, de stand van het hoofd, de manier waarop het gewicht op de voorpoten rust, de richting waarin de vacht valt \u2014 alles wordt opgebouwd en weer afgebroken tot het overeenkomt met je foto’s.<\/p>\n

Het is ons meest veeleisende stuk en het stuk dat we het minst maken. Er is geen snelweg: alleen de vacht kan al duizenden naaldsteken kosten.<\/p>\n

\"Het<\/picture><\/figure>\n

Waarom het het langst duurt<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Het hele dier, niet het gezicht.<\/strong> Poten, voeten, staart, borst en rug moeten allemaal gevormd en in balans gebracht worden zodat het stuk overtuigend staat.<\/li>\n
  • Een echt armatuur.<\/strong> Het beeld houdt een pose vast dankzij wat erin zit, niet omdat het ergens tegenaan leunt.<\/li>\n
  • Vacht voor vacht.<\/strong> Lange of dubbele vachten worden in de richting van de haargroei opgebouwd, en daar komt de gelijkenis echt vandaan.<\/li>\n
  • Kleur is meegewerkt, niet opgeschilderd.<\/strong> Merino in elke tint, met de hand gemengd terwijl het stuk vordert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Het maken<\/h2>\n

    Twee rondes wijzigingen zijn gratis, en we fotograferen het voltooide beeld vanuit verschillende hoeken voordat het ergens naartoe gaat. Het maken duurt zes tot veertien weken \u2014 langer dan alles anders in het atelier, omdat dit het stuk is dat absoluut niet gehaast kan worden.<\/p>\n

    Foto’s vanuit meer dan \u00e9\u00e9n hoek helpen hier het meest<\/strong>Omdat we het hele lichaam opbouwen, maken een zijaanzicht en een aanzicht van boven een echt verschil voor de houding. Alleen van voren is werkbaar, maar meer is beter.<\/div>\n

    Ja, en dat zijn er veel. Stuur de foto’s die je hebt, hoe oud of vervaagd ook, en we vertellen je waar we mee kunnen werken.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

    \nKunnen jullie een bepaalde pose nabootsen?<\/summary>\n
